Edward Ware Homes Ltd sells the field to Curo, with outline planning for £3,400,000 plus £680,000 VAT
As it became clear how damaging this housing development would be, residents formed a group to save the site.
Curo finalise plans despite significant opposition and are given go ahead by B&NeS to start construction. This has to begin within two years,
In accordance with conditions laid down, Curo confirm a material start in commencing the approved development has been made at the site. This is basically just the concrete foundations for a wall.
No further site work has been completed but in July Curo hold a public consultation at Beacon Hall to show Peasedown residents their revised proposals for the site. This has significantly changed and they now wish to build around 50 homes instead of the original 89.
As this is an entirely new scheme, fresh planning permission will need to be sought.
A meeting of the parish councillors agree that Curo needs to submit much more information and detailed plans. Planning permission is likely to be sought by Curo by the end of the year.
12th October. Curo has now submitted new planning application at B&NES
